Feeling stuck in life
A next step that does not ask you to force your way forward
You may know that you want something to change while finding it difficult to move. Advice to try harder or make a big decision can leave you feeling even more distant from a possible beginning.
The Shore Within offers a creative way to approach feeling stuck in life. A page can hold the image of a wall, knot or closed space, making room to look at it with curiosity rather than immediately trying to break through.

When moving forward feels difficult
Knowing you want change but not where to begin
Waiting for certainty before acting
Feeling pressure to solve everything at once
Approach the block with curiosity

A drawn image can give a vague sense of being stuck something tangible. You can notice its shape, what is around it and whether any part of it feels possible to approach. You do not have to decide what it means straight away.
Lucia brings creative expression, listening and meditation into this exploration. The aim is to recognise your present experience and consider a manageable gesture. A small action can have value without proving that everything has changed.
A small creative practice
A conversation with the block
Use an ordinary sheet of paper and allow the image to be unfinished.
- Draw what feels stuck
Let it appear as a wall, knot, stone, patch of colour, closed line or empty space.
- Give it a temporary name
Choose a word such as waiting, weight, uncertainty or something you invent yourself.
- Offer a question
Complete: This block might be protecting... Treat the answer as an exploration, not a fixed explanation.
- Make a small opening
Add a line, doorway, dot of light or another detail that suggests a little room.
- Choose one possible gesture
Write an action that feels manageable today: opening a notebook, asking a question or trying something for a few minutes.
Your questions
A little more clarity

Does every block have a hidden meaning?
No fixed meaning is assumed. The drawing is an invitation to notice your own associations, not a test or an explanation imposed on you.
What if the next step still feels too big?
You can make it smaller, leave it as a question or simply keep the page. The exercise is not a deadline for change.
Where can I explore related themes?
Feeling lost focuses on direction; creative blocks focuses on making and expression. These pages offer different starting points for experiences that may overlap.

A first conversation
A little room for movement can begin with a single, possible gesture.
Write to Lucia about what you are looking for, and ask about language, format and availability.
These pages explore creative expression, personal reflection and everyday wellbeing. The approach does not provide diagnosis, psychotherapy or healthcare. The current Circle of Light group is guided in Italian.
